About Down To Earth Auto Electrics

Down To Earth Auto Electrics was established in 2013 after a realisation there was a need for a restoration service concentrating solely in vehicle electrics – a part of vehicle restoration so often overlooked. Specialising in cloth wire and brass terminals, from Lamborghinis to Lagondas , Model T’s to Morgan’s, Beach Buggies to Barracudas we are on a mission to rid the world of coloured insulated terminals.

The sales side of the business was a natural progression. After developing our own products and sourcing quality components worldwide for use in the workshop – we have fuse boxes made in Idaho and warning lights made in Chicago for example, we thought we may as well sell them. This gives us unparalled technical support and aftersales service – we know these products inside out and only sell what we are happy to fit in the workshop.

We are proud to say that Down To Earth parts can be seen in everything from Al Slonaker award winning vehicles at the Grand National Roadster Show to record setting vintage racers on Europe’s beaches.
